| United Kingdom Politics Having secured a third term, we will fulfil our promise to renew our country and take Britain forward to a better future not back to a failed Tory past. Our continuing success depends on our continuing to pursue a new Labour agenda as a modern progressive party. We will focus on three crucial areas: the economy, modernising public services, tackling crime and asylum; building on what we have achieved to make Britain better since coming to office in 1997 |

| After having been forced to sit and watch all those Europhile love in's over the past twenty years.I was very amused and not at all surprised to see "the united stand" made by the leaders of the four biggest European Economies, where us and The French the Italians and the Germans all declared a "United Front" to help combat the current crash of the Worlds Stock markets. Then all of a sudden the German Chancellor Frau Merkel goes and decides it's in Germanys best and isolated interest to go against the very things which only the day before were set in stone!!!!!.I will not bore the arse of everyone here by reciting what each Country had agreed to do.Although running off and putting your own Country first was at the time "not" on the agenda. For the benefit of those who "still" harbour ideas of even great -er European union and expansion,I say look at what just happened?.Each and every Country "MUST" put it's own needs well before the greater good of some (utopian) super state. The days of European Armies fighting under a united flag always were laughable,(these people could not agree on the colour of shit) let alone agree where to send our Troops, also would any of us trust them to??. I most certainly would not,Whatever benefits the French isn't normally in our Countries best interest.Like the so-called co-alition of the willing against Iraq and Saddam Hussein, now how could we ever rely on allies like the Germans or the French.Personally the Euro idea has gone far too far, just look at the Countries who are queing up to hitch a ride on the gravy train.Who can blame them??,this expansion has gone way far enough it should have ended with Greece, and no further East. Our Countries wealth is being drained away by those who when they make over here only wish to live of our over generous (to them) benefit system. Those Romanians who were polluting our streets until only recently, trying to sell their idiotic bits of Heather. Then getting very stropy with those who said no.Then there was their kids (who like wild Dogs hunted in packs),and who were up to all kinds of things like Bank Card Skimm -ing and street swarming (gang handed muggings). Do we really need any more of that??,I say no.Let the French look after the French and the Germans look after the Germans, this European ideal has grown out of all proportion from what it was created for (a trading bloc to ensure Europe could feed it's self) nothing more.Disband all these rights of free entry and living and set it back to what it was first set up to be,a friendly European domestic and continental trading agreement in order to keep european tarrifs low.Kohl and his chummy pal Mitterand have a great deal to answer for, lets close down the parts we don't want and simply lets trade with our neighbours not move in with them lock stock and subsidy. |
