And we should never forget that people like this were fighting to prevent the most grotesque racism and that we owe our forefathers a huge debt of gratitude.

We're taught from childhood to treat the elderly with courtesy but when they say things that could land a younger person in court IS IT OK TO TURN A DEAF EAR?

I have an idea, Carol.
First of all, let's line up all the unreconstructed British dinosaurs, you know, those who lived and fought their way through two world wars and made this a country everyone else on the planet wants to come to for their free hand outs. And then we’ll get the PC Crowd, the brainwashed lemmings, the media darlings, the politicians, the immigrants and the fat cat businessmen to hurl anti-indigenous, pro-immigrant abuse as loudly as they can into the deaf ears of all the old Queen Mother-like "bigots"!
That'll teach our ancestors to be “racist”, by Mandelson!
It is curious though, isn't it, Carol? How our ancestors always seem to come across as so much better and nicer than us in every other respect than this artificially manufactured one? (Throughout all history the outsider has ALWAYS been viewed with suspicion. It is only in the last 50 years or so that the governments and media of the Western world have deliberately tried to demonise (and eventually criminalise) this natural fear of the unknown)
I’ll tell you one group who won’t be sneering at the elderly, Carol. The 250,000 British people who are leaving this country every year now right now won't be joining in with the pensioner-bashing. The ethnically cleansed tend not to want to take the p*** out of those who are unable or unwilling to flee the cleansers.
