| Scots to celebrate St. Andrews day Scotland's first minister has backed calls for St Andrew's Day to be declared a holiday. Jack McConnell said he was prepared to lend Scottish Executive support to a new law which would allow banks to close on 30 November. continued......... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/5334506.stm Its good to see a bit of Nationalism and patriotism north of the border. How about St Georges day for England? or is everyone content on buying cheap plastic flags for football tournaments and then giving up?........      |
