Who would have thought it twenty years ago,but most commuters interviewed
say bring back British Rail.The most recent company to give it up G.N.E.R. out of
all the privateised rail companies had the best start.They had brand new Electric
Locomotives class 91 all bought and paid for by the Taxpayer under B.R.also they had brand new mark 4 coaches to go with the Locos.Also the D.V.T.s were
a B.R.idea first used on the Edinburgh/Glasgow push/pull services of the 1980s.
This system meant the train could be driven from both ends,so needing only one
Locomotive.Then last but by no means least,there was the full Electrification from London to Edinburgh and even through to Glasgow all paid for by the good
old taxpayer again.G.N.E.R. started with a dream system if these shitheads can't
make this tick over right,they should go and piss off and do something else.Where else in the World would such a thing occur like.The public already owing the rolling stock/track/locomotives/stations/coaches/ but somehow they
buy them back,then they are charged fares which would make a Mafia Mobster
blush for the privellege.
