United Kingdom Politics Having secured a third term, we will fulfil our promise to renew our country and take Britain forward to a better future not back to a failed Tory past. Our continuing success depends on our continuing to pursue a new Labour agenda as a modern progressive party. We will focus on three crucial areas: the economy, modernising public services, tackling crime and asylum; building on what we have achieved to make Britain better since coming to office in 1997

Black Betty is an unknown quantity at this point
It turns out that common Britons should back up banks’ liquidity.

It turns out that common Britons should back up banks’ liquidity. I thought that this is our government’s responsibility. But such editions as Newcastle Journal are urging us to open promptly savings accounts to the sum of no less than Ј 3,5 thousand. As if it is so easy to solve crisis like Northern Rock’s one with such uncouth measures. Once they could miss such tremendous lot of money they’re able to do it again and again.
And our government knows it well. Quite possible that they themselves have a finger in the pie buying for nothing share of broken banks. By the way Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling (why on earth this boring managerial technocrat was appointed on such important post I wonder??) himself keeps his money in American bank Citigroup Inc. It is interesting where are other our power and mighty keep their stock. I’m sure that we’ll find out many interesting things.
