| Could Britain be neutral ? Our policy of following America in practically everything appears to have produced more harm than good. Our soldiers are stuck in Iraq and Afghanistan and the bomb attacks of 7/7 are looked upon as just the beginning (look at 21/7). Would it be feasible for Britain to adopt a policy of neutrality in world affairs, similar to that of Ireland or Switzerland ? Maybe even withdraw from NATO? or do we have too many commitments to make this practical ?      |
