| Prescott the Pig On 16 March 2008, in the article, Fury over Prezza flat, The Daily Star told us this: Quote:
GRUBBY John Prescott is to be clobbered with the £3,320 bill for cleaning up his former official London residence. The two-bedroom mansion flat in Admiralty House was so filthy it required a deep-clean by an army of Mrs Mops.
The ex-deputy PM – who romped at the apartment with his secretary Tracey Temple – had been expecting taxpayers to foot the bill.
But furious MPs have now demanded Prezza pay it himself after new details emerged about the state of the grace-and-favour pad from a Freedom of Information Act probe.
One Westminster source said:
‘A normal deep-clean costs about £200 and Mr Prescott’s cost 16 times that. You could call it a pig sty but that would be unfair to the pigs.’
Although taxpayers met the £173,000- a-year rental for the flat – now home to foreign office minister Lord Malloch-Brown, Prezza, 69 – was responsible for keeping it clean…
Nine cleaners tackled the muck left behind by Prescott.
| I entered this comment beneath the cited article: Quote: Ah, the standards set by those who rule our lives, eh?
How the piggiewigs grub around in the dirt.
Is anyone out there surprised that the bought-and-paid-for fat man lived like this? The wonder is that we could ever allow such a slob to hold so much power. And if any of you think that he was just some kind of keep-the-unions-happy sop to the unions offered up by Tony Blair, think again. The brute Orwellian created Common Purpose, an enormous but secretive organisation created to police the EU's writ in the UK. The Common Purpose folk are, in effect, the EU's "Thought Police" in our country. Check out Common Purpose at the iamanenglishman web site.
