A small anti BNP rally took place in Swansea city centre yesterday (Saturday). It consisted of a dozen or so of the unwashed, augmented by members of the obscure Socialist Party and almost as obscure, Socialist Workers Party. The Socialist Party took advantage of the occasion to engage in a little fundraising through the not so good services of a collecting “tin”. In addition the comrades were so short of numbers that they brought along some young children to help with the distribution of their leaflets to shoppers. Perhaps the “thinking” was that shoppers wouldn’t insult the kids as they would their parents?
Strange though, I thought it was a Searchlight Cymru organised campaign. As readers may know, Searchlight Cymru - according to their website – has as its honorary president Plaid Islam’s Dafydd Elis Thomas AM and honorary vice presidents Plaid Islam AM Leanne Wood, Labour AM Huw Lewis, Tory AM Mark Isherwood and Lib-Dem AM Mike German. The Welsh Tories in particular are doing their best to conceal their political partnership with communists from their members – not easy when their Leader, David “Hug-a-Hoodie” Cameron, is listed by the far-left UAF hate gang as one of their supporters (along with Ken Livingstone)!
Strangely, for what was a small public demonstration after all, some of those taking part were a little reticent about having their picture taken! Two members of this motley bunch tried to stop our cameraman from taking photo’s. But when their intimidation failed, they scurried off to enlist the aid of the two Community Police Officers present. They complained that someone taking photo’s of them was harassing them! This resulted in CPO 604 David Moore, assisted by his CPO colleague, telling our photographer to stop taking photo’s!
It did not seem to matter to CPO Moore that it is not illegal to take photo’s in the street and even when this fact was pointed out to him insisted that our man stop doing so.
CPO Moore stated that those people who did not want to have their photo’s taken felt that they were being harassed by our cameraman. Our cameraman responded by saying that the only person being harassed at the moment was himself. However CPO Moore still insisting that our man stopped taking photo’s and the camera was put away. Meanwhile the Searchlight cameraman was allowed to continue taking photo’s all the same!
Some of the photo’s taken are displayed in the link.
The close ups are of the two men who were harassing our cameraman and who tried to block his shot - either by using a clip board or by putting themselves between the camera and the subject. In addition, we wonder whether the slogan “Smash the Nazis Smash the Racists - use any means necessary” is not just inflammatory but an actual incitement to violence.
Clearly another “wash out” day for “Searchlite” and their assorted far-left and Tory helpers!
Remember peeps David "The Chameleon" Cameron and his party all support the UAF..........
