| 21st CENTURY REVOLUTION - NEPAL How many people does the international community want to see dead and disabled before it puts pressure on King Gyanedra to abdicate? Would the UN and other bodies wait till Nepal becomes another Cambodia, Bosnia or Somalia, so that their volunteers and peace-keeping troops get some more exciting jobs? Isn’t indiscriminate firing of live bullets on the heads of hundreds of peaceful demonstrators enough to try King Gyanedra at the International Court? Is this really the 21st century where the so-called democratic super-powers are fighting ‘a war against terrorism’ and are oblivious to despotic regimes that generate terrorism? Hello, I’m a common but conscious human being from one of the poorest yet beautiful country in the world, is anyone listening!? |
