    US short-term debt $3,500,000,000,000

It's one of those numbers that's so unbelievable you have to actually think about it for a while... Within the next 12 months, the U.S. Treasury will have to refinance $2 trillion in short-term debt. And that's not counting any additional deficit spending, which is estimated to be around $1.5 trillion. Put the two numbers together. Then ask yourself, how in the world can the Treasury borrow $3.5 trillion in only one year? That's an amount equal to nearly 30% of our entire GDP. And we're the world's biggest economy. Where will the money come from?

According to the U.S. Treasury, $2 trillion worth of debt will mature in the next 12 months. So looking only at short-term debt, we know the Treasury will have to finance at least $2 trillion worth of maturing debt in the next 12 months. That might not cause a crisis if we were still funding our national debt internally. But since 1985, we've been a net debtor to the world. Today, foreigners own 44% of all our debts, which means we owe foreign creditors at least $880 billion in the next 12 months - an amount far larger than our reserves.

That just about sums it up. But the libtards will tell you it's all OK because people need health care. It looks like Europeans finally got the American president they wanted.....one that will cripple the U.S. both economically and militarily.

The only upside is that once the U.S. is too economically devastated to fight, maybe the "State" of Texas can go back to being the Republic of Texas.

Tantal, Obama and Bush and most of your previous presidents work for the Bilderberg Group, you can't be a candidate for a presidential race unless they put you forward, Democrat Republican party is the Bilderberg Group. Tis the same in Britain.

American needs new independent people in politics - choice.

And why would you expect anything different?
I wonder why the things that should be so simple, so natural... like loving someone and letting them see into your heart... should require so much courage?

Get your mind around the numbers -
It is about 18 times more than the total numbers of stars in our Galaxy (about 200,000,000,000)
USA Incorporated is losing it's political clout because it is part owned by its enemies.
Jesus said in John 3:17, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

So you think its only 200 billion? America's annual economy is about 8 trillion, approximately 2/3's what David Rockefeller is worth.

The USA has been overspending for along time, don't blame Obama. Don't forget that you guys pay more than twice as much per head of on health care than most of the western world. The reason why the US is struggling to pay for health care is not Obama, it's the fact that the USA has the fattest least healthy people in the western world, look at all the worst processed/takeaway food, alot of it comes from the USA. Blame worsening lifestyles of the people in your country, that is why the USA is struggling to pay for health care.

Thinking aloud here, and with no particular view on the subject (for once), but would the US becoming isolationist necessarily be a bad thing?

The people in the US do indeed pay more for healthcare. Our system is better than any other nations health system. We have the shortest waiting time for appointments, referrals and treatment, the best and most modern methods are utilised, rationing is unheard of.You do indeed get what you pay for.

As for lifestyle weight etc, to blame it simply on diet is wrong, also to blame diet, processed foods etc, is not exactly on target. Many Factors are cause of this, but the belief amongst forigners that Americans are all fat because they spend their days scoffing vast quantities of fas food an a daily basis is quite wrong.

When My Wife visits Europe(mostly London) the English people she works with are shocked and confused when the hear that she hates Mc Donalds......"I thought thats all you eat" is a very common response.
It is interesting that the CDC dosent look into the meat industry for some good evidence of why people in the US are getting bigger, ah but the CDC is a part of the govt, as is the USDA and the FDA.

Growth hormones in livestock may be a factor also, feed a cow steroids and then eat the cow, another of many reasons perhaps.

What you call a worsening lifestyle is not accurate, fewer and fewer people in the USA are eating Junk(despite what your Government tells you) Obesity has been in decline for the last 20 years( on the increase in the EU).The lifestyle in the US is often one of work, work , work.I never work less than 60 hours a week, often 90 or a hundred, my wife works 80 on any given week, more if she travels, these are the hours we need to work in order to live as we wish and to be responsible for our selves. Most Americans I know work the same kind of hours.
Then the Government takes its cut and wastes it on the lazy, it sickens me.

Yet the USA is 49th in life expectancy, the UK spends half as much on heathcare than you guys in the US and yet they are 36th.

I was pointing out that diet is a reason why healthcare in the USA is so expensive, I never said all americans eat badly, I said most of the junk food eaten is from the USA.

We spend more on health care and get better treatment, you get what you pay for.

Do note though the US figures for health care costs are true and accurate, they include Private insurance costs, Co Pay costs, costs paid for by the patient who dosnt use insurance AND they cover government welfare payments to hospitals covering the care given free to the uninsured who are unable to pay.

UK statistics show only the costs covered by NI contributions, add to that the top ups from other Taxes and the money spent on private insurance and for privatley purchased treatment you will see a bigger number.

Diet is not a reason for expensive HC.It is a reason that Americans live 4 MONTHS shorter lives than their British mates, 4 months, makes all the difference!!!!!!

Most Junk food globally is not from the USA, most Junk food chains scource their suppliers locally.UK MC Ds purchase from EU suppliers.

You have never heard it said?

Go to Londo with one of the hated Americans and coach the hated American to tell someone that they never eat at Mc Donalds because they dislike it, listen to the response from the average Brit, it is quite the norm.

The World Health Organisation, part of the UN, the most virulently anti American organisation on earth, yup we can trust their opinions. They are just jealous becaus ethe rest of the world is half starved, the US would offer assistance but we wouldnt want them to become fat like everyone in America now would we!!!!!!

Stll Obesity is declining in the USA whilst it is growing in the EU, one day the numbers will be reversed.

How would anyone other than David know, its a guessing game, but to even think below 1 trillion seems weird considering those who research this stuff talk in trillions, 1000 times a billion. i think its a case of, if you only believe that the roths and rocks of this world are just your ordinary rich people, then you'll no doubt believe their media friends.
