The state of Arizona has passed a law making illegal immigration a crime. About 70% of Americans support this law but there are politicians who are saying it is wrong. What's your stand on this?
The word illegal in itself is probably a clue.Yes it is a crime to cross a countries border without "papers"
It has since always been a crime and No it is right.
It is not fair to those who have already obtained their papers and the
fact of the matter is we have border's for a reason. How many people
do you think the United State's can with hold? Plus we are dealing with
a recession at hand not to mention an idiot for a president?!
This law in Arizona has been there, but not exactly risen up to the extent
that everyone was aware of. The politicians are Liberal defense attorneys.
If insanity is not for the plea then a reason of excuse is.
Many of them claim that the law is racist or 'racial profiling' because
the law enables an officer to be able to as since to request for your
'papers'. So many of course drive to exaggerate that this is more than
just a request for checking to see if you are a legal.
The reason to why this is in effect is because of the crimes that have
been occuring over drug trafficking. It's much more in Mexico, but not
here and some drug dealers have brought it here illegally. If we can
easily sort them out we can possibly decrease it although it may never
disappear for good.
To put it straight the media demonizes much all the time and one of the
Left's characterization as 'bad' is the law enforcement. Generally cops
who they rule out often as one's obtaining power and often taking
advantage of others like some kind of brute. So the media immediately
covers the dispute and makes it more than what it is.
Truth is, it's not as bad as you hear because I have certain family
there who know all about what's going on down there. You think this
is a 'civil rights' issue? Think again, it's another exaggeration from the
vermon in the media.
We can't have justice unless we overcome these idiot's.
No one exactly cares who or what is killed where, when, and how
when it is due to a drug related crime. When was the last rime
you heard of a man, woman, or child reported to have been shot
or murdered due to this? You might have heard of these doped
up idiots in Hollywood, but what about the people using drugs in
Mexico? Even children are in ways involved in the drug trafficing.
Think about the people that have been killed and the ones who have
suffered due to this crime that has taken over with a amount of increase.
Soon we will no longer be having white paper because that also offends
these scum who cannot focus on 'Equality' except profiling what is and
what is not 'racist' like Eric Holder and NAACP.
History is our greatest gift that must be taken into consideration.
Without it we have no human instinct and neither strong convictions.
We exist to this day to fullfill this duty of Honor that we do NOT
forget it and that We preserve it's memory. It is our Key to this Future.
Yeah, I have no idea what the fuss is about. If the Federal Government hadn't all but failed in curbing illegal immigration from Mexico these laws would not have been needed. IMO I think that other border states should follow Arizona's example.
I thought crossing U.S. borders illegally was already a crime. I admire the people in Arizona who stood against illegal immigration, but why was another law needed? Weren't there laws that simply needed to be enforced?
It is, this Law allows police to check the residential permits of people they stop. They cannot actually stop people to check permits (theoretically), but in the course of any other police business they can (Like RBTs). Up until then, I don't think they could unless charges were laid.
