Blaming Reagan for the oil spill?

Some Democrats have come out and blamed former President Reagan for the oil spill saying if he didn't approve offshore oil drilling, the mess in the Gulf Coast would never have happened. Is that reaching just a bit?

In today's politically correct climate both sides of the Atlantic, someone has to be to blame for incidents like this, regardless of the real cause. Given that he died some years ago, it's a fairly safe bet he's not going to contest that blame!
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised 'for the good of its victims' may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us 'for our own good' will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -- C.S. Lewis

In typical Democrat fashion, they will attempt to blame anyone who either: 1. Makes a profit off of anything. or 2. Has a "R" after their name.

It seems now the dust is settling that its the yanks fault all along. The only connection to BP is that the yanks hired some of their gear.As usual the colonials will blame anyone but themeselves,

Revenge is within our grasp, the World Cup is apon us and tommorow we face the US of A. With a bit of Slick passing we will put them under pressure and mop up any spillages by their keeper.

A happy World cup to all

I wonder why the things that should be so simple, so natural... like loving someone and letting them see into your heart... should require so much courage?

By that logic we could blame the first person to drill a well, offshore or on land. Perhaps we should blame the dinosaurs.

That's not reaching anything except something that the Obama Administration has found
to play blame on. Obama is still finding more than just Reagon though. I didn't think Obama
was willing to go back and blame a REAL president. Well that doesn't take much I.Q.
any way to do that in his case.

I can't believe we even have this idiot as president. It's like more of a nightmare.
I'm sure even America's own allie's are having a laugh or to at what we have come
    down to.

Well this is a depressing part to here that even a great former President Ronald Reagon
is pulled into the 'Socialist Blaclist'.

Well peopel it seems our media is getting to you. Yes, keep sinking in with them and
soon you will be a 'Yankee Hater' while we examine the zombified expression you morph
    in and out of gradually.

History is our greatest gift that must be taken into consideration.
Without it we have no human instinct and neither strong convictions.

forget it and that We preserve it's memory. It is our Key to this Future.
