This thread is in response to one of our posters who reckons the Sun shines
out of this creeps arsehole.Simply because he (Powell) got out while the
going was still good,(straight after the 2004 election) and (this is the best
bit,because Powell our poster claims still maintains an approval rating of 68%
"WOW"!!!!) Although in reality I think you will find it down somewhere around
his ankles,just like his ex boss Mr 21%.

Powell claimed with all sincerity that Saddam Hussein had in his possession a
number in fact quite a number of W.M.D.s.Condi Rice also give fuel to this fire
when she exclaimed her line about "Mushroom Clouds".Powell knew all the time
that these claims were complete and utter nonsense,he knew to of lies which
Bush and Rumsfeld and Cheney had used to tie Saddam Hussein in with the
Al Qeada of Osama Bin Laden.Nothing (in fact ) could have been further from
the truth (as Powell well knew).Saddam Hussein for all his terrible faults
executed all Al Qeada men caught within Iraq.Also Osama Bin Laden considere
-d Hussein a "Bad Muslim" (a fate worse than death in Bin Ladens eyes).The
chances of these two fanatics ever forming a partnership was impossible,
except in the minds of the Bush administration.Prior to the war of 2003 Powell
got to his feet in the United Nations building on the East River in New York
the scene of the 9/11 tragedy (which Powell,Bush,Cheney,Ashcroft,Rice) had
allowed to happen,despite repeated warnings from every single security agen
-cy in the World.With a prompting stick to add to his school master look (good
PR that one Colin ??) Powell started to pick things out on the view screen.
There in the full view of the entire world this charlatan made the case for war.Powell pointed to two articulated trailers and claimed these (two chemi
cal toilets in reality) were Saddam Hussein's chemical weapons labs!!!.With
our useless former Foreign secretary Jack Straw nodding agreement at all
the lying General pointed out.There we have it another day of infamy,were a
man once so honourable and trustworthy allowed himself to be turned inside
out by a cowardly drug addled draft dodging rich boy G.W.Bush.

Powell the man of honour?!?!?!?!
True this man did serve in Vietnam where he won multiple
decorations for bravery,once he saved the Pilot and some other lifers,by drag
ing them out of a blazing downed Huey.Powell went out of his way to rescue
them.Which is what all Airbourne boys will do even to the detriment of their
own lives,which of course is very commendable also do him the honour of my
admiration and respect for his war time deeds.However why did a man like
this allow himself and his Honour and goodwill to be offered up and ruined in
front of the entire watching world.There are in this world some of us who do
take a little more interest in world events,and who are not satisfied to hear
that West Ham won on Saturday or which Horse won this or that race.I have
long been a news hound,my memory goes back to the orginal Gulf War with
Saddams Iraq fighting Iran because the west wanted the Muslim fundamental
-ists kicked out of Iran.The West Armed Saddam to the teeth.This in fact is
where the story of the missing (non existant W.M.D.s) starts.When Iraq was
busy fighting the numerically superior Iranians to destruction,the Iraqis could
count on much more advanced weapons systems,the only advanced weapons
Iran had was two squadrons of F14 Tomcats which the Shah had bought in
1978,and most of the time theses were grounded through lack of spares.This
situation gets covered in another scandal Iran/Contra from the 1980s Reagan
Administration,hpwever there are loose ends which tie in here.Iraq would got
beaten very easy but for the western advanced weapon systems and satelite
link up which provided the Iraqis with invaluable intel.This period in Washington
-s history with the mid-east was known by operatives as the "Love Affair".
Things did start to turn very very serious though when the two sides started
attacking each others Oil laden Tankers in the Straight of Hormuz,Oil shortage
-s started to look like a reality.The British and American governments got
together and sent out the Armilla Patrol which was basically protection for the
oil tankers which were getting damaged by mines or from Iraqi Exoctes,in fact
the Tankers Captains and the Insurance agents called the Straits Exocet alley
This Iraqis were getting trigger happy during this time and they even fired an
Exocet at an American Warship the damage was great and a lot of the crew
died.Iraq simply said OOPS Sorry we didn't mean it,and nothing happened.The
real target for A.R.M.I.L.L.A was the Iranian motor rubbers armed with 50 cal
forward and rear double machine gun and limpet mines,not much but more
than enough to hole a Tanker of the era without the double hulling of today.
These fast boats were manned by the Revolutionary Guard and they were out
to cause as much trouble as they could.Khomeini died or fell ver ill and a
peace treaty was signed between the two beligerants and that was that.One
million Iranians dead and 500,000 Iraqis Good EH ?? and all on the western
powers say so.

Iraqs non existant W.M.D.S
When Colin Powell took the oath of office and swore to defend
the American constitution,I don't think he ever saw himself making himself a
fool and a liar before the entire watching world!!!.Powell a four star general
which had acquitted himself very admirably during Desert Storm and who had all
the people on his side as a kid who did well as he was born in the Bronx or
one of the other notorious parts of slum New York.Perhaps his boss G.W.Bush
saw something else in him as he made him Secretary of State during his first
term.This of course was more useful to Bush than to Powell but Powell was no
fool (yet) he knew where the Bears shit in the trees,(didn't he??).The awful
events of September 11 occurred and the hunt was on (for the cameras) for
the Terrorists,Osama Bin Laden (a Bush family friend) also there was by now
in Iraq the bad guy of all bad guys Saddam Hussein.Even though there was
nothing at all to tie him in with 9/11 they just couldn't pass up the chance to
nail him,(by now the "Love Affair" was very cold)as Saddam had been a very
naughty Psychotic and invaded Kuwait without asking nicely or being told to
do so by Papa G.H.W.Bush (the read my lips President).Bush the new man in
the White House wanted old Saddam dead and he wanted him linking in with
the 9/11 tragedy,by hook or by crook so all the Presidents men and a Woman
(at least I think she is a Woman,she says she is so what the hell ??) went to
work.Saddam plotted the 9/11 disaster and he has W.M.D.s they said.Iraq had
been under U.N.embargo for over 12 years they could not even import analge
-sics,Powell also knew this as he had been the one who set up the sanctions
and no-fly zones in the first place.Powell also knew the shelf life on Sarin and
on the Mustard gas which Saddam had used with such determination on the
Iranians and on the Kurds.The santions though were 12 years old the Sarin
nerve gas had turned to unuseable mush,and despite what was claimed the
Iraqis had no chance of manufacturing and more as their client states US the
West would not supply him any more.Saddam also lacked the delivery system
to get his non existant weapons outside his own borders,I refer you to my
(childish rant).Powell knew all this and more (with a $50 billion intelligence
agency telling him what was what) when he stood before the world with his
Prompting stick showing us two or three portable shit houses and claiming
they were W.M.D. labs.

Colin Powell allowed him self to be used like a twenty $dollar Girl
Whore by G.W.Bush and his cowardly cronies,Powell had every opportunity to
refuse to be implicated in this gigantic lie.Powell could have should have said
"NO" i refuse to say these things and help send young Americans to their
deaths for Oil and for greed and above all a foreign countries security needs
Israel.Powell should have refused to wage a rich mans war against a peasant
poor alredy broken by Saddam and years of UN santions.Powell should have
railed against maiming and killing women and children simply because Bush
wanted to (in his arrogance) be called a War Leader.Colin Powell is full of shit.
He should have stuck to fixing up his clapped out Volvo's,instead of being
Bush's house servant.I hope the money he got for it all was ****ing well worth
it.
