| I would like to start this text by attempting to seek out some person from across the Pond who can explain (or attempt to explain) this suicidal fall of the once mighty $Dollar. These are very troubling times Economically, does Bush even have the slightest clue as to what he and his Fiscal advisors are telling him??.There are now stories doing the rounds in Europe about highly paid Models/Software designers/I.T. Security designers ETC who are refusing to accept the currency in payment for services rendered. Surely should this be allowed to continue then disaster is waiting around the corner.I know the big-wigs from the U.S.Treasuary ETC are saying nothing is wrong, and we are not heading for recession. However the omens do not look to clever.First and foremost there is the "GIGANTIC" U.S. Defeci right.Going back to the 1980s and the Economic Voodoo which was termed Reaganomics/ this was a pathetic fiscal philosophy where by the bigger the gulf got like the "imbalance" of trade defecit,Reagans advisors told us the faster it would correct it's self ???/ UTTER NONSENSE all of it.This was at time when a Trillion $ Dollar Deficit was considered out of this world.Bush has ran up a 12 Trillion deficit (and don't forget folks he is a Fiscal Conservative???). Should this last stupid comment which Bush calls himself be true, then I would hate to se a Fiscal Tax and spend Liberal ?!?!?! (may the Gods preserve us) Phew. The way this man Governs is quite insane the way Money is thrown at every single problem (except the real domestic ones like Medicare and Children's inoculations ETC is a "real" scandal). This man flings money at Countries, for the slightest sign of so-called loyalty. This money he liberally gives away is DEBT for which the next two generations of Americans yet to be born will have tied around their necks, one thing is for sure these coming people will wonder why the U.S. has to pay China untold $ Billions every month !!.The last subject in this is the much bandied about new American currency the Phoenix. This was supposed to cement the bond between the Countries in the N.A.F.T.A.Community.This has all but vanished from the scopes of every political and fiscal commentator since about 2004.Does any -body know what happened to this new currency, did Mexico pull out through the Border conrtrol thing. Then again did Canada refuse because of the way the $ Dollar was slipping into weakness ??. |
