Hi Everyone,
I have just joined this Forum within the last few minutes, so if I go 'Off Key' please accept my apologies.
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Peter, I am married (38 years next May), and have four sons/daughter-in-laws and eight Grand-Children.
I am rapidly approaching my Sixtieth Birthday (13 months away) but I have retired due to three heart attacks.
My youngest son is a Royal Marine Commando and is currently serving in the Middle East.
My heritage can be traced to (verbally and written) the original Viking settlers along the South Wales Coast and I consider myself a true Celt Although, my grasp of the Welsh Language is ashamedly very limited. All my Grand Children attend a Welsh School and are putting me to shame .
Outside Wales I am commonly called Taff, (Like most of us) and I am proud of this 'Title', however I do feel that the way this country is heading this will soon be 'Politically Incorrect' along with 'Jock, Paddy, Scouse, Geordie Etc.'.
The reason I joined this Forum, is I am getting more and more disillusioned the way our Country (UK as a whole) is heading, our culture is being eroded due to the current trend in 'Political Correctness' which I believe is doing more damage than good.
I have plenty of views about current Government trends and I'm sure you will be hearing a lot from me.
