It is as if after Israeli faulty intrusion into Lebanon’s territory Jewish lobby in USA has decided to launch an attack of condemning UK President for his inequality to stop US invasion of Iraq. Well, it’s rather interesting head-feint! Yes, all know that Blair fully supports anti-terrorist campaign, initiated by USA in Iraq. But we should remember that the war on terrorism has been American reply to horrible 9/11 tragedy. And Great Britain as US reliable ally and real friend could not refuse to help America in this case.
And what can we see now? Former US President, Jimmy Carter, ventures to criticize Mr. Blair for his readiness to support friendly American nation! Mr. Carter has had the front to name relations of mutual trust and confidence, existed between UK and USA, “disgraceful and jeasly conjuncture”, trying simply to shift the whole responsibility for what has happened in Iraq to Blair’s shoulders.
