| Has Britain just been humiliated by Iran? Is this sudden release of our soldiers by Iran and a presidential pardon to boot a massive propaganda victory for the Iranian government? Why did our soldiers just down their arms and surrender to the Iranians when operating under a UN mandate? It seems the British military has lost its backbone. Would we ever have seen our servicemen act like they did and confess and apologise with head scarves on during say the falklands,Korea or the Suez. Britain has been made to look like mugs by a tin pot dictatorship       |
