| Army strategy to recruit blacks and Asians THE ARMY has launched a new drive to attract more recruits from the black and minority ethnic (BME) communities in Scotland. Forces chiefs have hired a specialist public relations firm to take their message into communities, and last week signed a deal to sponsor a multicultural football team. Only 800 Asians are enlisted in the Army's ranks.
